Art Million's Kitbashed HO Scale MK-6 Mikado

 

During the early 1980s, Art Million kitbashed a Pere Marquette MK-6 Mikado from a Nickel Plate Products brass Erie N-1 Class Mikado.

Art modified the locomotive to include PM-specific details such as the deck-mounted air pumps and added running board steps. He replaced the small Vanderbilt tender which accompanied the stock model with the tender from a Rivarossi Berkshire. He described the kitbash in the July, 1984 issue of the Chesapeake & Ohio Historical Society Newsletter.
